Cupid’s Crush is a 5 mile road race that takes place Valentine’s Day weekend around the lake and over the hills of Druid Hill Park. Debuting in 2015, the Baltimore Road Runners Club continues to make this the new February classic. Join us for questionable Maryland weather and a challenging and fun race.
Date: February 9, 2020
Location: Druid Hill Park – Baltimore, MD – 9:00 am
Course: Scenic, rolling & winding throughout Druid Hill Park and around Baltimore Zoo. The original course has been rerouted due to the closure of the lake. The second half is still hilly and challenging. This is not a PR course.
Registration: Online registration on The Driven via BRRC.com. Through 12/31 – $20 for BRRC members, $32 for non-members. After the new year – $25 for members, $37 for non-members. You can join BRRC
here.
Race day registration will be available for $40. Unfortunately, we cannot
guarantee premiums to those registering on race day.
Packet Pickup: On site at Lakeside Pavilion (
map), race day only starting at 8:00 am.
Amenities: The first 250 runners that register will receive the coveted Cupid’s Crush Pom Pom Knit Hat! Free race photos available for download! We’ll have some snacks and hot chocolate after the race too, I suppose.
Race Conditions: February in Baltimore. Who knows? Probably cold.
Awards: Top 3 overall male and female – overall male and female masters – top 2 in ten year age group awards – also random prizes. Running with your sweetheart? Email
goodejohnny@gmail.com to be eligible for our fastest couple award.
Post Race: We’ll have some music playing and some things to keep you warm. Awards will begin at 10:15 at the pavilion. This is a gussied up low-key race here, folks. Let’s have some fun.
