Wow, time sure flies by way too quickly,
as BRRC’s Freeland 15K will be upon us shortly!
Vicki and I will be thrilled to see so many of our friends on race day,
along with meeting new racers in just 3 more Sundays!
Race will go off on Sunday, April 23rd at 8:00 a.m.,
and we’ll begin our only morning of Race Day Registration at 7:00 a.m.!
So, don’t be late and come prepared,
be ready for some competition and don’t be scared!
You will come to the Freeland Parking Lot by the NCR Trail on Freeland Road,
where you’ll register, stretch out, loosen up and use the commode!
Then shortly before 8 the call to the line will be made,
with a loud shout of GO and wishes of good luck said!
This is a BRRC Grand Prix Series race for our Members,
but non-Club runners are always welcomed and encouraged to become Members!
The race is discounted for BRRC Members for a nominal fee of $10.00,
and $20.00 for all non-Club Runners, some come on out to the holler!
We will be only accepting Cash for the Race Fee,
so don’t bring us your plastic money!
You will be rewarded for your efforts after finishing the race,
as food and drink will be of plenty regardless of your place!
We’ll have some Cash Awards for the fastest of feet,
so double knot those laces and be ready to compete!
If not a current club member, there’s still time to join,
or show up race day and bring a little coin!
Volunteers will be needed as they usually are,
so, contact Vicki or Christian and we will help pack up your car,
We’ll need help for Registration, Finish Line and along the trail,
for 1 Water Stop and road crossings in New Freedom alongside the rail!
Vicki and I couldn’t do the race without all of you,
as your support makes our race a success because of all you do!
