At 5 (ish) miles the Big Gunpowder race is the shortest in the BRRC trail series. But don’t let that fool you! There’s still plenty of excitement in those miles, including a killer climb at the start, probably a water crossing or two, definitely some mud, a few rocky sections, and some of the prettiest single-track around. Also, prizes for first overall male and female finishers!
This race is free to members, and $10 to non-members. Donations of $5 are appreciated and go to BRRC to make it possible for us to have these great events! Thanks! Registration is race-day only starting at 8:15 am in the parking area on the east side of Belair Road (on the side opposite Gunpowder Lodge). Race starts at 9.
Directions: 695 to exit 32B, Belair Road N
Parking area is on the right. If parking is full, please park across Belair Road at the Park and Ride, next to our friends at the Gunpowder Lodge. This is free parking and you can safely walk through the underpass foot path to our race.
