GPS Half Marathon

This is one of the 9 races in our BRRC Grand Prix Series. Course begins just north of Sparks Road on NCR Trail, heads north to Monkton Road, turns back south to Paper Mill Road, then back north to finish at Sparks Road. Registration will begin at 7:00 AM. Entry fees are free to our members, $15 for non-members. But- If you register as a member it is free. What a bargain! Donations are appreciated from members. The course is smooth and flat, on the historic (since 1832!) NCR trail. Course begins at the Sparks Road crossing of the NCR Trail (https://brrc.com/ncr-trail-torrey-c-brown-trail, Location P6). Parking space is very limited at the trail crossing. There is abundant Free Parking located approximately 0.4 mile walk from the trail, at the abandoned stone school building, at 1036 Sparks Rd., Sparks Glencoe, MD 21152, west of the NCR trail crossing. GPS is 39°32’19.3″N 76°38’39.5″W. Registration is at the old Sparks Elementary site.
We will be awarding prize money to BRRC members for the top three male and female overall finishers – 1st place, $50 – 2nd place, $40 – 3rd place, $30

Complete 3 of 9 GPS races to qualify for an award (must be a current member). That said, all runners are welcome!! This is an approachable, shady, half marathon. Enjoy! You do not have to be a GPS participant to run this race.
