Distance; 4 Miles
Race Director: Valencia Hike and Adria Lucca
Location: Patterson Park
Join us for the Too Hot to Trot 4ish-mile run on Sunday, August 6th, at 7:00 AM.
The upcoming race will take place at Patterson Park, situated in Baltimore City. It will be the sixth race out of nine in our BRRC Grand Prix Series. To qualify for our GPS awards, you must participate in at least three 9 GPS races. We welcome all runners to join!
The race takes place in a park and consists of mostly paved paths with some areas of sidewalk and brick. There are no public road crossings along the course. The starting and finishing points are near the Patterson Park Central Pavilion (located behind the Virginia S. Baker Recreation Center), where porta potties, registration, and awards ceremony will occur. If you would like more details about the route, scan the QR code below or click the link: https://www.strava.com/routes/3119712610323074492.
Registration is race day only and is $15 for members and $20 for non-members starting at 6:15 AM. All participants will receive a Sports Cooling Towel and refreshments at the finish. The cooling towels are safe & eco-friendly and made of super ice hyper-evaporative breathable material. They provide instant cooling, multifunctional, portable, and easy to use – the perfect premium for a race on a hot summer day!
We will award BRRC members prize money for the top three male and female overall finishers – 1st place, $50 – 2nd place, $40 – 3rd place, $30.
We are looking for a few volunteers to help on race day. If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch with our Race Directors, Valencia Hike (valenciahike@gmail.com) or Adria Lucca (alucca@verizon.net).
