What an unprecedented time in our world and nation.  For most of us, the next few weeks will be very different than our normal lives. This will definitely go down as a “where were you when” time period in history.  You’ve almost certainly received dozens of emails by now, with guidance on everything from best hygiene practices to places you should avoid.  This is not that kind of email.

We hope this message finds you healthy, aware, safe and with a positive outlook.

While social distancing has come as a surprise to us all.  The whole purpose of the Baltimore Road Runners Club is to get together to run, train, and socialize.  In light of the Governor’s press conference, and prioritization of health and public safety BRRC has decided to cancel all club events through April.  In the coming weeks, we will continue to monitor the situation with the direction of local and state officials.  Any decisions made will be made with your best interests in mind.  We will communicate with you as soon as possible should there be any potential changes.

We want to thank the BRRC community for continuing to be such a caring, inclusive and inspiring group.  We are fortunate to have such a wonderful community to lean on, contribute and draw energy from.  We appreciate everyone’s support and cooperation as we navigate through these difficult and uncertain times.
